ENMAX Corporation is committed to supporting the communities we serve through investing in youth, the environment and safety. We support programs that invest in the development of life-skills and learning of youth; as well as those that promote environmental responsibility, particularly in the area of energy conservation and renewable energy options; and finally we have a strong commitment to electrical safety and safe, responsible actions around electricity.

Two of our signature programs are ENMAX Power’s School Safety Program and Pond Hockey by ENMAX Energy. Our school safety program includes safety presentations for grade 5 students, videos and a puppet named Ouch the Outlet. These programs reach close to 35,000 students/year.

Pond Hockey by ENMAX Energy gives kids a chance to be face to face with local hockey celebrities. Atom-level hockey kids play a shinny game with local hockey heroes from the NHL and WHL and learn important skills and drills from Hockey Development. As a community spirit program, neighbors, friends and family are encouraged to attend one of these exciting events to meet the players, get some autographs and win draw prizes.
